Occupational Safety and Health Administration -  OSHA

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has established general safety standards that require employers to provide a workplace that is free from recognized hazards that are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees.

General requirements are cited in 29 CFR 1910.22, Walking-Working Surfaces, which was revised in 2022. This is one of the most frequently cited standards in OSHA. This standard includes guidelines for preventing slip and falls, which may include using flooring materials with appropriate slip resistance properties, such as a minimum DCOF.
